Week 4

I'm not known for my outstanding biography writing skills, but enjoy this photo I chopped and fun bio of this important web figure.Berner-Lee Spiderman

The True Spider Man- Sir Timothy Berners-Lee

Born a mere mortal in London, England, on 8 June 1955, Tim Berners-Lee, was destined for something big. Not much is known (to me) of this brilliant man's childhood, but he eventually ended up graduating from the prestigious Queen's College at Oxford University, England, 1976. This is where he built his first computer with nothing but a soldering iron, an old television, a bunch of what would be considered to day as old junk, and his bare hands. Making a computer from scraps would be far from his most fantastic feat, for in 1989, he was credited for the invention of the fastest growing web man has ever seen to this day. He created (with help of a few others) the World Wide Web, and much like God, he gave it to us for free.

Berners-Lee is the director of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), is also the founder of the World Wide Web Foundation, etc. Although still mortal, one could go on for days preaching of this man's fine achievements, but that's what his fantastic is web is for. So go on, folks, search his name on the internet, and awe at the web of tales you can enjoy about the legendary spawner of scien-terrific ideas- the stories of a true spider man.

Here's a short video about this sexy spider brain.
